FOUR DAY WORKSHOP

Really thrilled to return to the photographic gold that is found in one of my favorite places in all of North America. On September 28 and morning of September 29th, we will photograph in and around Whitehorse and its nearby surroundings; Fish Lake and Carcross where we will find wildlife, eagles and colorful aspens groves and even, ‘ghost towns’, and the beautiful sunrises through the fog on the Yukon river. And it’s even possible by the evening of the 27th and the 28th we will be out shooting the Northern Lights!
By mid-day on the 29th of September we head west towards Haines, Alaska stopping many times along the way to photograph some of the most magnificent mountain-scape’s in all of North America, against a ground cover that is ablaze in the fall colors of reds and oranges! We will lodge in Haines for two nights, September 30 and 31st and once there, we will photograph the many grizzly bears and eagles who are busy feasting on the autumn salmon runs on the Chilkat River. On Sunday October 1st, following an early morning check out from our Haines Hotel, we will catch the ferry to Skagway and take a leisurely drive back to White Horse, on Hwy 98/Hwy 2 reaching Carcross by 4pm and Whitehorse by 6pm. For those of you who are flying in for this workshop, and unless you have a flight booked later Sunday evening, you will want to book a hotel for Sunday night in Whitehorse with your return flight home on Monday October 2nd.
Unless you are a local Whitehorse resident, you will want to make your own reservation at the Raven Inn for three nights. Sept 27/28th/29th and everyone must make their own reservation also for the Aspen Suites in Haines, Alaska.
