Epic Landscapes by Day – Northern Lights & Star Trails by Night

NOVEMBER 19-25, 2025

7-DAY WORKSHOP – $3995*

MEET AND GREET ON NOVEMBER 18, 2025 AT 7PM at the **Recommended hotel at the Reykjavik Airport

*Price includes accommodations for 4 nights in Vik and 2 nights in the Westman Islands but students will be responsible for their own accommodations in Reykjavik on November 18 and upon return to Reykjavik on November 25.

November 19-23:  After our Meet and Greet in Reykjavik, we will leave the following morning on November 19 in our two vans for the town of Vik, stopping along the way to capture the beautiful scenery of Iceland.  We will make our way to our accommodations in Vik, where we will lodge for the next four nights at the Hotel Vik í Myrdal.

November 23-25:  After breakfast on the morning of November 23, we will take the ferry from Vik to the amazing Westman Islands, where we will lodge for two nights at the Hotel Eyjar.

Waterfalls, glaciers, seascapes, beautiful vistas and gorgeous mountainscapes are seen almost at every turn and of course, weather permitting, we will also be shooting the Northern Lights and star trails in Vik, the Westman Islands and along the way while driving in this absolutely picturesque country.

We check out of our hotel in the Westman Islands on the morning of November 25 and take a slow drive back towards Reykjavik. We plan to arrive at Keflavik International Airport by 2pm so if you are planning on flying home or to your next destination on that day, arrange your return flight accordingly.

NOTE(s):

• The workshop fees include all ground transportation beginning upon departure from Reykjavik on the morning of November 19.

• The workshop fees include lodging for 4 nights in Vik and lodging for 2 nights in the Westman Islands.

• Students will be responsible for arranging and paying for lodging at the *Recommended Hotel in Reykjavik on November 18.

• Students are free to book return travel or travel to your next destination as early as the evening of November 25.  Don’t forget to book accommodations for yourself if you are staying in Reykjavik after the workshop ends on November 25.

We will have a Meet and Greet on November 18 at 7 PM in the lobby of the **Recommended Hotel in Reykjavik where we discuss student goals and objectives, and Bryan will provide an overview and rough agenda for the workshop.

**You can stay at the hotel or lodging of your choice in Reykjavik, but the **Recommended Hotel in Reykjavik is where we will gather for the Meet and Greet and where we will gather for departure for Vik on the first day of the workshop.
