PUSHKAR CAMEL FESTIVAL and the ‘PINK CITY’ JAIPUR and the ‘BLUE CITY’ Jodhpur
Considered by many to be the greatest visual spectacle of “color and camels” in all of India, the Pushkar Camel Festival is a must see for anyone who has India on their radar and considering their proximity to Pushkar, it only makes sense to include both Jaipur and Jodhpur, in this ten day workshop. Rahjastan is arguably the crown jewel of india and again arguably the ultimate photographer’s paradise of COLOR and People! I have traveled countless times to Rajhastan
and there is only one reason I keep going back; because there is ALWAYS new and compelling images to capture, even without going to Pushkar, both Jaipur and Jodhpur are a color paradise unto themselves, but with the addition of Pushkar and during the Camel Festival, this is one workshop that WILL prove to be the most colorful workshop offered in 2023!
We will begin our workshop in Jaipur where we will lodge and meet up the first evening AT 7pm in the lobby of the Holiday Inn on November 17TH. We will lodge in Jaipur for four nights, Nov 17-18-19-20 and on the morning of Nov 21st we will check out and with a hired driver make the 2 ½ drive to Pushkar where we will lodge at the VAMDEVFORT Hotel for three nights, Nov 21, 22 and 23. On the morning of November 24th we will again head out around 11am for the 4 ½ hour drive to Jodhpur where we will lodge at the RADISSON HOTEL for four nights, Nov 24th, 25th , 26th, and 27th. The morning of Nov 28th following a morning shoot and a farewell lunch we will head to the Jodhpur airport where you can catch a flight to Delhi and from Delhi choose your next destination.
