Northern Switzerland 2023

5-DAY WORKSHOP – $1995
MEET AND GREET ON april 26, 2023 at 7:00 PM

A first time offering: Experience the Sound of Music with your camera as we enjoy the  springtime in Northern Switzerland. Another workshop that will offer both beautiful landscape opportunities as well as street photography. 

From small quaint villages set against mountainous landscapes to the hustle and bustle of Zurich, this is another workshop of great color and energy. 

April 26–27:  We will stay the first two nights of this workshop in Zurich.  We will spend one full day in the golden city of Zurich, photographing this stunningly beautiful city with its towering churches, picturesque lake and recognizable landmarks.  

April 28–30:  On the morning of April 28 we begin our drive through the Swiss countryside to our lodging in a small village, stopping along the way to photograph the breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps, the verdant valleys and the turquoise colored rivers and streams that are filled with melting glaciers.  We will spend the next three nights here, making day trips from one village to the next through stunning mountain passes to photograph Switzerland’s many waterfalls, forested mountains, castles and panoramic views of the Alps.  We have already booked these rooms for the workshop participants, and students will only need to present their credit card upon check-in to pay for their rooms at this hotel. 

May 1:  On the morning of May 1, we take a slow drive back to Zurich with stops along the way to continue exploring all the beauty that Switzerland has to offer, expecting to arrive mid-afternoon where the workshop will end around sunset.  Students must arrange for their own accommodations on the evening of May 1.  Transportation to the airport will be provided for students with flights out that evening.    

We will have a Meet and Greet on April 26 at 7 PM in the lobby of the *Recommended Hotel where we discuss student goals and objectives, and Bryan will provide an overview and rough agenda for the workshop. 

NOTE(s):  

• The workshop fees include all ground transportation during the workshop.
• Students are responsible for paying for their accommodations during the workshop.    
• Students are responsible for booking their own reservations for accommodations in Zurich for April 26-27.

*You can stay at the hotel or lodging of your choice, but the *Recommended Hotel is where we will gather for the Meet and Greet and where we will gather before and after photo shoots during the workshop days in Zurich.
