Namibia 2022

13-Day Namibia Workshop

June 6-18, 2022

Meet and Greet on June 6 at 11:00 AM at the Windhoek Airport

We will meet up at a TBD location in the Windhoek Airport and load our gear into our provided vehicles and hit the road from there. Over the next 13 days we will explore the magic of this amazing, unique country. Namibia is an undiscovered photographer’s paradise, with the iconic sand dunes of the Sesriem, Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, the Skeleton Coast and pink flamingoes, whales and penguins in Walvis Bay, the quirky Quivertree Forest and Giant’s Playground in Keetmanshoop and the deserted, ghost town of Kolmanskop where the desert is slowly reclaiming the town by filling the abandoned homes with sand. We will also make time for guided game drives and living desert nature walks to capture photos of the wildlife of Namibia in both the Kalahari and the NamibRand deserts.

June is the beginning of Winter in Namibia and you can expect ideal weather with mild, dry conditions during our workshop. Morning hours will require a light jacket, at mid-day you can expect to wear short sleeves, and as the sun begins to set you find yourself reaching for your jacket again.

Detailed itinerary and additional workshop details available by August 1, 2021.
