MEET AND GREET on April 12, 2023 at 7 PM at OCA HOTEL in Lisbon, Portugal

I am really excited to announce this workshop for several reasons, not the least of which is that I have finally managed to find the dates and time to offer it and secondly, we will be joined in this workshop by Jose Santos, an extremely talented Portugal photographer who knows these two areas very well.  Jose will provide students with the ‘inside track’ on not only knowing where to shoot but also when to shoot!  Jose and I will be at your disposal for any and all questions as we walk the colorful streets of Lisbon and Porto, assuring everyone that they will not only record the best possible exposures but also the most compelling compositions.

April is an absolutely beautiful time of year in Portugal, when the weather is not too hot and when the streets have not succumbed to the madhouse of tourist season. Many of you have made queries about WHEN I would offer a workshop in Portugal and I’m thrilled to be able to put it on our schedule for 2023 – welcome news for so many.  We are going to have a fantastic time, as usual! 

Our hotel in Lisbon will be the Oca Flores Hotel Boutique. You will love it! The link to the hotel is below and you will want to book your rooms for three nights, April 12-13-14, checking out the morning of April 15th. We then take a leisurely and beautiful drive from Lisbon to Porto, stopping along the way for food and photo ops, arriving in Porto in the last afternoon, then checking into the Figueria Hotel for two nights,  April 15th, 16th, checking out the morning of the 17th where we again take another leisurely drive back to Lisbon, arriving in Lisbon early evening where you will then lodge at any hotel of your choice in Lisbon or at or near the airport, depending on your travel plans from April 18th onward. We will provide all transportation throughout the workshop beginning the morning of April 13th, and including the drop to everyone’s hotel back in Lisbon wherever that might be.

We will have our usual Meet and Greet on April 12 at 7 PM in the lobby of the Oca Flores Hotel in Lisbon, Portugal where we discuss student goals and objectives, and Bryan will provide an overview and rough agenda for the workshop.
