This workshop will be one of the most ambitious day/night photography workshops I have taught in the USA, plus we will have a female model during the Four-Day workshop. Night skies of Star Trails in Joshua Tree and Milky Way nights in Death Valley. Street Photography by day in Las Vegas and morning and late afternoon landscape photography in Death Valley.
It will be a Four Day workshop beginning with a meet and greet in Las Vegas at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino, Wednesday night April 10th at 7pm, Lobby of Hotel near Chick Fil A Restaurant…next morning, April 11th, we head out for a morning shoot in Old Vegas, and that afternoon we will drive south to Joshua Tree National Park, making a few landscape stops along the way and finish up the evening shooting the night sky among the Joshua Trees. Friday morning following breakfast, we will drive up to Beatty where we will lodge Fri and Sat night at the Atomic Inn, (reservations at Atomic are made already, and students pay for their rooms upon check in). Workshop wraps in Beatty by 11am, Sunday and then we drive south towards Las Vegas, where we will spend the afternoon shooting in the Valley of Fire State Park. We will arrive in Las Vegas around 8pm where you can choose to stay wherever you wish or be taken to the airport should you have a late-night flight out Sunday evening.
