Everything you’ve seen or heard IS TRUE – India is truly incredible and everyone will agree that the locations in this workshop are both inspiring and memorable. We will see and photography bazaars and markets like Chandni Chowk, the 400-year-old sprawling market in Old Delhi, then move on to the holiest of Hindu Cities – Varanasi, where we will join many others, revelers and photographers alike, in the very famous and colorful annual celebration known as the Holi Festival on March 14.

A bit of India related trivia for you:

  • In the opening scenes of the The Dark Knight Rises starring Christian Bale – the prison scene was shot inside the Mehrangarh Fort atop the hill in Jodhpur.

  • The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel was shot entirely in Jaipur.

Incredible landscapes and cityscapes, phenomenal people, intense colors – India is absolutely photographer’s paradise.  Eight days of photographing the amazing people of India and the vivid colors of her streets in the friendliest county on Earth – what could be better!
