As so many prior students have stated, this 10-day workshop in Southeast Ethiopia is best described as the most amazing and life transforming adventure you will ever experience. During our ten-day outing, we will lodge five nights in four-star resorts, but the greatest and most memorable experience will come from your four days of camping with two of the larger tribes in SE Ethiopia, the Hamer and the Karo tribes. Camping means you will be sleeping in a secure tent where your comfortable bed awaits and both morning and night, our 5-star chef will prepare a fabulous breakfast and dinner. This workshop is truly a people photographer’s dream, a street photographer’s paradise, a birding photographers oasis and a full moon shoot that will prove truly memorable! All of our travel is done in Land Rovers and each of the six participants will have a window seat.

The workshop begins the afternoon of January 20th, in the town of Arba Minch. You will fly into Arba Minch from the capital of Ethiopia, Addis Abba. You will book your flight from Addis to Arba Minch on Ethiopian Airlines, flight#135 which leaves Addis at 12:10pm and arrives in Arba Minch at 1:15pm. After getting your luggage, I will meet you in the arrival hall where we will than proceed to the Paradise Lodge. Complete itinerary sent upon request. Enrollment limited to SIX participants.
