Angkor Wat and Siem Reap, Cambodia
Street Photography, Rice Fields, Quaint Villages
5 Day Workshop, $1995 – Limited to 6 Students
October 23-27, 2021
Meet and Greet on October 22 at Royal Crown Hotel in Siem Reap at 7PM
It’s been said that the best time to visit a popular destination is when it’s no longer popular and that is FINALLY true about Angkor Wat. Of course, it still generates tourism, but FORTUNATELY the ‘tourists’ are going elsewhere so that is why I am bringing this destination back. Angkor Wat is a really magical part of SE Asia and if you are familiar with the movie, Tomb Raider, then you have seen the beauty of Angkor Wat.
In addition to this architectural mystery we will spend time in the many surrounding villages and on the streets of the bustling yet still very quaint city of Siem Reap. If you love Bangkok or have thought of visiting Vietnam, then make it a point to include this workshop in your SE Asia tour. Subject matter will include the warm Cambodian People, the numerous monks clothed in their orange robes, rice fields/rice harvest, frog farming, local markets of course and yes, monkeys too!
All group ground transportation is provided by hired car and/or Tuk Tuks. Workshop price does NOT include the hotel costs or food.
Royal Crown Hotel and Spa

*You can stay at any hotels of your choosing, but these are the hotels where we will gather for the Meet and Greet on October 22 and where we will depart from every morning.
