Introduction
Bhutan has many special things to offer to the travelers and is perfect destination for the photographer, the photographers’ paradise.

Beautiful temples and monasteries filled with monks and nuns, surrounded by mountains, rivers, rice filed, village farm houses, people living in harmony with timeless spirituality and natural surroundings. People don’t mine you taking their photos.

This a 10 day photography workshop and tour leads you to four districts in Bhutan, Paro, Thimphu, Wangdue and Punakha. During these 10 days you will be visiting famous temples and fortress, monastery, local markets, villages, walk in the farmer’s field and their homes, night photography, interesting Thimphu street photography, landscape photography and many more, your Photography guru Bryan F. Peterson, and his local counterpart photography guide, will let you to the right place at the right time to capture perfect photographs of Bhutan.

Day 1
9th May, Saturday
Arrive Paro – Bhutan from Delhi.

Arrive Paro and drive to Thimphu (Altitude about 7300 feet). By Druk Air, offering a unique ride over Himalayan frontiers and possibly capture the scenic view of Mt. Everest and other eastern Himalayans, if it is a clear day. On arrival at Paro International airport, you will be conferred a traditional welcome by your local guide followed by a beautiful drive to Thimphu by the rivers and villages around. Afternoon we will visit Thimphu city which is very interesting and one of the first developing city in the Asia.

Day 2
10th May, Sunday
Thimphu Day excursion.
After breakfast, drive to Kunsel-phodrang to visit one of the tallest Buddha in the world. The site of the tallest Bronze statue offers a strategic overview of Thimphu valley as well, you can sense the Himalayan kingdom’s capital.

Watch and take photographs of the national game archery in changlimithang stadium.

After the Buddha, we can visit Dechenphodrang monastic school, it houses more than 260 young monks. We can also have tea with head monk there and get insight about the monastic life.

On the way back, we will have very good view of Tashichhodzong, Headquarters of Bhutan, it has the King’s office, Government offices and the Jekhenpo, the chief abbot of the central monastic body.
After lunch we will drive to Tango buddhist university.

Day 3
11th May, Monday
Thimphu to Phobjikha
Early morning we drive to Phobjikha and in en route we can stop at Dochula pass (Altitude about 10,150 feet). At Dochula pass we are going to have breakfast with the views of mountains. Take photos of Druk Wangyal temple and the 108 Chortens. If the weather permits we can get a very good view of the eastern Himalayas and this place is truly a paradise on earth. After the stop we will continue driving down to Wangdue (Altitude about 3400 feet).

Before we reach to Wangdue, we will stop at Lampelri Botanical Park to enjoy the place and nature. We can do a short nature walk. Have lunch in Lobesa.

Day 4
12th May, Tuesday
Phobjikha to Trongsa.

In the morning we will visit Gangtey temple and do the nature hike. After lunch drive to Tringsa. The way to Trongsa is very beautiful and we can do many landscape photography on the way.

Day 5
13th May, Wednesday
Trongsa to Punakha.
After breakfast visit Trongsa Dzong and drive back to Punakha. Again we can stop and take landscape and people in their environments photographs. Lunch in Nobding or Chandayji.

Day 6
14th May, Thursday
Punakha,
In the morning we do hike to Khamsum Yuelay Namgay Chorten hike Hotel in Punakha.
Visit nunnery, Punakha Dzong. Lobesa village etc.
Overnight in Hotel in Punakha.

Day 7
15th May, Friday
Punakha
Day open for the photography workshop or village and school visit.
Overnight in Hotel in Punakha.

Day 8
16th May, Saturday
In the morning visit local farmer’s market and after that drive back to Paro.have lunch in Dochula pass (Altitude about 3400 feet).
Overnight in Hotel in Punakha.

Day 9
17th May, Sunday
Day hike to Tiger’s nest Temple and in the afternoon, shopping and stone bath.
Overnight in Hotel in Punakha.

Day 10
18th May Monday
Departure to Delhi
